Nov. 2nd Assets Training

During election day this year we had the honor of sitting down and holding two 3-hour trainings on the developmental assets to elementary school teachers and staff. This was the first time we've offered trainings that long, so we took the opportunity to expand our traiditional presentation to also include an extensive look at the results from our 2006 developmental assets survey.

My favorite part of the two trainings came towards the later part of the 2nd workshop as I started to really get tired. I made the mistake of complaining that "standing on your feet and talking for six hours is really difficult" and immediately a teacher in the front smiled and muttered "tell me about it".
