The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) enables adults (parents and extended family) to become leading advocates for children. The cornerstones of the program are respect, validation, and a belief that when the tools of democracy are understood, the public will actively engage in civic life.
This is not just a program it is a life changing experience. Students finish their PLTI classroom experience with the knowledge and power needed to prepare themselves as community leaders.
It is a process. You never really end the program. It becomes a way of life.

Students will be selected for each class with consideration given to how their participation will enhance diversity, strengthen the learning process and provide a unique perspective. Interviews will start soon.
